Ok.... this what i have done....
Switch to simply view
1- Add a NEW module
within that Module
2- Add a function as you showed in your PDF (page-1)

all thats have been done, created  now what?

Reconfigurring the Module-Settings when something goes wrong is a pain in the *ss...

If there are no other settings there you want to keep, i suggest to drop/truncate the tables #__vm_module and #__vm_function and restore them from a clean / new installation through phpMyAdmin (or similar tool).

If you have made changes to the virtuemart groups to, it may be that you have to restore #__vm_auth_* too.

You have to add each of those functions back to the module.

The information is exactly there.
