Let users to change browse page
« on: April 17, 2010, 14:15:50 pm »
Hello, i want to create availability for user to change browse page style, for example: Product list with large pictures, second browse page: product list with small pictures. I can easily do what i want but only with flypage.tpl.php because i see full url in browser, example:

product-list?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=17&category_id=7

need just to change flypage.tpl to other name, such as flypage_new.tpl.php and it works, page style changes.

But i can't do it with browse page, :(

Sorry, for my bad english. I hope you understand what i mean :)

here is an example: http://www.fortakas.lt/Monitoriai_LCD/LCD/CatalogStore.aspx?CatID=PL_199

at the top you can change the style of view.

It is no stupid question. Unlike the flypage, the browsepage cannot be changed by the URL. This would require a hack of the core code...
