!!! JoomFish and VirtueMart incompatibility !!!
« on: December 10, 2010, 10:22:36 am »
I just had my store up and running and then i had to install JoomFish because of multilingual site was needed.

After the installation everything looked up fine until i made an demo order in my store. All went just like it should, but when i was checking out in the final step system said NO - an error came up. Error 500 - No valid database connection. :o

Platform:
Joomla! 1.5.22
VirtueMart 1.1.6
JoomFish 2.1.5

Is there any solution yet for my issue with JoomFish and VM.

When uninstalled JoomFish everything worked fine again except i still donĀ“t have my multilingual site which i desperatily need now!

It's not changing the SQL platform, it's changing the API used to connect to MySQL. Joomla should be using MySQLi anyways. But you can enable both of them.

Yes, works like charm thanks.

But how long does MySQLi go on?
