Approve user registration

Hi!

I would like the users to be able to sign up for login registration on my webshop. However, I would like to approve the registration before login information is sent to the user.

Is there a way to do this? Do I need an extension, if so which?

Yes you can do that! You will have to use Multilingual registration approval plugin which you can find here: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-a-security/authentication/9007
I have used it in a Virtuemart shop and it works fine.
