user registration doesn't save data

hi, i use virtuemart 1.1.14 and joomla 1.5.17. When extra_field_2  (fiscal code) and vm_extra_field_1 (VAT number) are activated and user try to register, after registration, user fields are empty. If i unpublish extra_field_2 and vm_extra_field_1 than i can register correctly. But i need to use these informations. So i created two new text fields, thinking to solve the problem, but when i tried to register i found it again. It seems that the registration can't work if i publish extra fields or new fields.
I can't understand where's the problem. Initially it was inserting invented data instead of my data, now it just doesn't save data when these fields are activated.

did you make changes to the user.php class? if so upload the latest version of VM. that did the trick for me on a few occassions.
