Hi,
i need to associate single products with 2 categories at the same time.

For example:
product "pizza" in categories "food" and "italian".

But then i'd also need to have two different
modules in my left menu. One for Goodies and
one for, say, Countries.

I'm actually using a module that automatically
puts all the Shop's categories in one menu.
Is there any way to do so?

Even without using only categories, but even something
else, like tags, attributes..
I dont even want my breadcrumbs to be a mess again!

thank you in advance!

You can assign a product to more than 1 category.  In the back-end, on a product's detail page, where you select its Category, you can select more than one by doing a control-click.

Yes, but then i can't divide them in two different menus.

I mean, i only managed to have all my categories correctly displayed in both menu and breadrcumbs using this module called mod_virtuemart_product_categories.

How can i split my categories set so that i can display some of them in a menu and some others in a different one?

Thank you again

Perhaps Forrest's module "vm_cat_menu_specific" could help you.

I use Forrest's module for exactly that.
Each product is in two categories, Type and Country, and it works perfectly.
You basically add a module for each category, and point it to the specific category number, then let it do it's magic.
