Let's think at those users as agents.

do not understand you here.

If you need to make purchases on clients behalf, then just create a client account as you checkout... straight from the front end. Nothing is different.

If you need to log into user accounts later to process more orders, then you can use: masterpassword

for Joomla.

OK, I havent been clear.
forget the agent but think it as an EMPLOYEE.
So we have
  • SHOPPER\NORMAL CLIENT: that enter the site -> enter an order -> log in -> check-out
  • EMPLOYEE: enter the site -> log in -> enter the order NOT FOR HIMSELF BUT FOR ANOTHER SHOPPER

is that clear now?? how should i develop this? is there any extension that could be usefull?

Yes, as I said, masterpassword for Joomla. Allows someone to login to ANYONES account on your site.

So employee can login to SHOPPER account and create order for SHOPPER.

OR if SHOPPER has no account, EMPLOYEE creates account for SHOPPER, creates order, and EMPLOYEE emails SHOPPER user details (login/password).

Nothing needs to be developed.

thanks for your advice, this is a nice workaround but I need somthing more... like logging the employee creating the order.
I found this VIRTUEMART ORDERS - ENTER PHONE MAIL EMAIL ORDERS AS CUSTOMER but it's soooo expensive

Well, if it's nothing more than logging the employee, why not have the employees use the NOTES section to place their employee number or other notes?

Just trying to help you with an easy alternative.

Im using VM 2.6.6 and ive seen on the backend that there is an option for the admin to log in on behalf of a user and place an order.
I cant see how i can do it. I would like to place orders on behalf of some of my users.
Can someone explain how to do it?
Regards!
