Virtuemart for Mobile User

i would like to ask if virtuemart can be used by means of mobile shopping, the users of the site would be from japan and they want a mobile version for the site. is virtuemart can work good like in the PC when used in phone? i do hope im not confusing and thanks for the help!

Well, check godaddy's instant moblizer. Plug in a virtuemart website sample and see what you think.

This will transpose on the fly a website to a mobile page view, but the end result will depend on the actual Joomla website template. The VM layout seem good within the Joomla template...

Likewise, you can always crate a completely separate site that is designed for mobile... in the end, VM should work just fine, but how it looks will all depend on your CSS/STYLING.

I tried out the mobilizer demo and seemed to have issues adding items to the cart.  Every time I tried to add an item I would get an error telling me I had to have a valid quantity even though it showed a quantity of "1" when I hit add.

I tried it with my sites J1.5.15 w/ VM1.1.4, and it worked fine for me... added to cart without problems.
