I only want to query UPS - Need help ASAP Please!

I have read several threads about UPS.  I only need to query the UPS rates.  My client will be packing and shipping items together, so the actual shipping cost will often be different than the amount estimated online.  So I need to access the rate sheet to estimate shipping, but I don't want anything hitting my client's account.

Is the process the same?  If it is different, can you please explain how?

the way the modules currently work, they are simply "window shopping".  You're getting estimates, and hopefully they are close to the rates you get when you take the package to the counter to actually be shipped.  you're still responsible for actually creating the shipment and having it charged to your account, or taking it to the UPS counter.
