VirtueMart and JoomFish configuration
« on: January 16, 2010, 22:32:36 pm »
I want to make my shop multi linguistic. But it seems to be quite difficult, because there is no clear explanations how to make it.

I am using:

Joomla 1.5.15 (Latest stable version)
VirtueMart 1.1.4 (Latest)
JoomFish 2.0.4 (latest)

Is there any guide how to make Virtuemart translatable? I found some guides and manuals for old versions (guides is writed in 2006). But after a whole day of searching i found nothing generalizated and summarized for new ones. It seems that old Joomla (1.0), VM (1.0) and JoomFish(1.8 ) versions work fine together, but isnt there any way to make Current versions work?

As i have read in several forums, there is alot of issues, and alot of people have difficulties with current versions.

But if there is someone who have knowledge about it - could you please post the links to proper manuals and guides? Where should i start?

Or maybe it is not possible to make VM 1.1 translatable with JoomFish at all? Then maybe someone knows how can i make VM 1.1 translatable with any other component?

Thank You in advance.
