Im using virtuemart 1.1.3, Joomla! 1.5.14.

Im trying to configure the Fedex shipping module to be one of my methods for shipping. (i am also using UPS which i cant get to work right now either, but i havnt looked into it, so i disabled it for now and im focusing on fedex) I have gone into the shipping module configuration (under store - shipping module list) Added my account number, called fedex and got a meter number, and added a fedex server address of "https://gateway.fedex.com:443/GatewayDC"

The problem is: When i goto checkout it get to step two and it says "Please select a Shipping Method!" Like it doesnt have ANY module enabled at all. SO When i turn on debug and enable the system legacy plugin, it lists all of the data, but as soon as i turn debug, and legacy off, it goes back to nothing.

PLEASE HELP!!! email me at pilotdan1985@yahoo.com

have you selected which services you want the user to see, via the module configuration?  if it is returning rates, but not showing them, your service selections might not match what is being returned.

Fixed. yes, dumb as it was. That was the problem. I didnt realize the services to offer had to be highlighted prior to applying changes

Not dumb, just a green mistake.  It's hard to know exactly what to do when there is no documentation ;)

hi there, Im having the same problem as the original post above... however I do not understand the fix...

Quote"...have you selected which services you want the user to see, via the module configuration?"

Can you please be more specific about this step? Im not sure I know how to do that...
Under Admin there is Configuration/Shipping which I have FedEx selected...
then there is List Modules and I checked "shopper" in the row titled "shipping"... is there anything else that I am missing. These changes have not fixed the problem... appreciate any help...

site is http://quikmat.com

thank you.

lowmips

Administration->Store->Shipping Module List-> configure ship method (click the appropriate UPS module)

Then in the configuration, look at the services list.  Check the checkboxes in front of the services you wish to provide, and save the configuration.

Thanks - as you know now, I have been all over the place trying to figure this out...! So I got the Home delivery option to 'appear' now as an option, however the Ground does not... very strange. I did have ground in the list of services prior, so it must be a ground issue? ???

tomcat8118

i have the exact same problem, when i debug, the following info is displayed (along with other items)

SERVICE : FedEx Home Delivery
SURCHARGE : 2.74
DISCOUNT : 0.00
NET CHARGE : 9.60
DELIVERY DAY :
DELIVERY DATE :

SERVICE : FedEx Ground
SURCHARGE : 3.00
DISCOUNT : 1.09
NET CHARGE : 8.77
DELIVERY DAY :
DELIVERY DATE :

However, FedEx Ground is not displayed as an option.  It is highlighted in the backend.

I am using Joomla 1.5.15 and vmart 1.1.4.
