Authorize.net Order Status not updating event though transaction successful

I can't seem to shift the order status from pending to confirmed for downloadable items. I've changed the Payment Method Configuration to "Confirmed" as the Order Status for successful transactions, and also set the Store Configuration for Downloads to "Confirmed" for downloadable products, but it does not seem to "take" when a successful transaction takes place.

Is there something I'm missing here? Do I need to change another setting, or is there something at authorize.net I need to set? Has anyone else using authorize.net had this problem?

I've search the forum for other solutions to this issue but haven't quite been able to figure out what the problem could be.

I've attached screen shots to help understand the settings I'm having problems with. Otherwise, everything works great, I just need to have the Order Status changed automatically when a successful transaction takes place.
