theme configuration, please help...
« on: September 06, 2009, 20:00:41 pm »
Hi,

On my virtuemart backend, on Configuration, then on 'Site' and "Store theme", whe
n I click on configuration I just get (inside a box) the code from file components/com_virtuemart/themes/vm_mynxx/theme.config.php   :-\

I already replace the folder components/com_virtuemart/themes/vm_mynxx, but with no results..

How can I solve this ?

Thanks

I don't think there is anything to solve, the Mynxx theme is like that. However, for questions about that theme you should turn to the makers. They have their own support for questions like this.

"vm_mynxx" must be using some js script which is creating the problem. I believe Scar is right .

It depends. There should not be any css conflict.

Ok, I respawn this post because it is the best referenced for this problem. So keep cool admins ;)

The bug is due to a bad tag name in the theme.xml (components/com_virtuemart/themes/vm_mynxx/theme.xml

replace the first opening tag :
<install type="theme">
by
<mosinstall type="theme">

and don't forget the ending tag at the file end :
</install>
by
</mosinstall>

That's it.
