(solved)MiniCart Alignment Problem
« on: August 30, 2009, 20:18:11 pm »
Hello, i am in the process of setting up an online shop within joomla and VirtueMart is the best choice so far apart from one small problem with the alignment of the minicart module in firefox. (this is the cart module)

in IE everything is centered within the module like its supposed to be but in Firefox it is off to the left. I have tried specifying the width within the inline CSS which makes it look right in Firefox but pushes it off the the right in IE. Just wondered if there was any quick fix for this as i have been trying to sort it out for a while now.

i am running version 1.1.3 and here are some pictures of the problem: (IE left, FF Right)

worked it out after a day or to :)

all youve got to do is goto your main template.css file in joomla and loacate:

Code: [Select]
div.module div div div div {
width: 160px;
}

and replace it with

Code: [Select]
div.module div div div div {
width: 160px;
margin: 0 auto;
}

and then its centered in both IE and FF :)
