Hi Guys,
The last couple of days have been long and mostly frustrating. I have been searching this forum and google and have managed to get something up, but this doesn't seem to be good enough for paygate.

I used the code mentioned below to setup a payment processor and works very well.

http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=25522.0

I asked paygate to test the code so that I may be issued an ID. They said that I need to have a 3d Secure field for Mastercard & Visa transactions. To tell you the truth I don't even know where to start. I am really discouraged at the moment. Hopefully there will be someone here that can help me. I would really really appreciate it a lot.

Regards,
Nico

Hi Joseph,

No sorry, I should have made it a bit more clearer. I don't even understand this whole thing properly to be quite honest. Maybe if you check this link you will understand a bit better as to what I mean.

Hi Nico,

The Module Charl created makes use of PayGate's old XML Service.
PayGate have a new version of their XML Service called PayXML. This version makes use of 3D Secure.
If you want to make use of Charl's module, then you will need to upgrade the code from the old version of XML Service to the new PayXML version. Inside the PayXML documentation on PayGate's download page (http://www.paygate.co.za/download.php) details what you will need to do to upgrade from the old version to the new version.

Side note, PayGate have a Module for VirtueMart which makes use of their PayWeb product. This might be an easier option than to try upgrade Charl's module.

Cheers,
Bazza

Hi Bazza,

Thx dude. Appreciate the help. I am sitting at the moment trying to figure out this whole thing. I went and tried the whole PayXML thing and sort of understand the whole concept now. I am going to attempt to edit Charl's old code with the new code and if need be I will start to splice the code a bit. If I come right I will post back for those who might need it.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Cheers.
