Yes, you did ask us for the same. I also know that you said - you added schema markups in your site even before it was included in VP Promart. We had already discussed this on VM Forum earlier: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=102624.msg385294#msg385294

But the codes we added to our template is not taken from anyone. They are written 100% by us. Even in our forum we asked not to send us your modified files. Am I wrong? :)

I am suggesting that you refer to the default Virtuemart layout codes and suggest the changes to others. That will make easier for them to adapt it in their site. Sharing the template codes/files may not help. (We also do not want our template codes shared on public forum. ;) ) If you really want to share the files then make the changes in default VM layout files and share it in the forum. That will be really helpful to all VirtueMart users.

Do not take me otherwise. It's just a friendly conversion between two VM users. ;)

As requested.

The files edited are as follows
default_showprices.php, default_reviews.php, default_images.php and default.php  These are the stock VM files just copied to the templates\beez_20\html\com_virtuemart\productdetails folder

I have zipped them and you can check yourself.

I haven't touched the instock and available markup yet on these files.

Used this page as reference http://www.schema.org/Product

No such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer. I won't ask if I know the answer or found it using the search as you suggested.

I wonder how is this working in VM2?

I found very Little information, just a module http://www.easyjoomla.org/virtuemart-extensions/rich-snippets-for-virtuemart#tab_documentation

Is this something that should be implemented by template providers or by VM2 or as a separate module?

I override the core templates so will introduce as additional markup in my template overrides.

It would be difficult to use a plugin that might fail due to my adjusted template code
