Missing child ordering

I was playing with 1.1.14RC last night and noticed that child product ordering is gone (was in 1.1.13 stable...didnt always work). Is this a bug or was it moved?

My setup was on a fresh install of Joomla 1.5.14 on my local wampserver (latest version).
