Nothing is getting saved in VM admin panel
« on: August 04, 2009, 18:47:26 pm »
 >:(

IM completely going crazy.

I have catalogue mode ON at VM.
And no taxes, nothing activated.

And im trying to enter all the fields at Store options, but after I click on SAVE, it says SAVED, but All fields are blank.  ??? ??? ???

No idea, whats going on..
All of products, which I add also, it prices go blank after saving that..

But on frontend , if shows vague prices for those..

No idea, whats going on..

Im on VM 1.1.3 and J! 1.5.10 .
Blissful!

Sounds like some pretty odd stuff going on there. Never seen this or heard about it before. Sounds like a bad install or server issues. Permissions maybe? Not a Litespeed server is it?

No buddy .
Itas HostMOnster server and works fine for my other sites.
Its a catalogue site and so I have switched off all the cart functions and just price is active and instead of USD, we had to activate GBP.
Since then this problem is there.
No price is getting saved :(

You mentioned store options. Do you mean Store Edit or Product admin?

Multi vender is not stable. I guess that is the problem.

Not sure how to delete. Through database? Never used it. I think it is in Alpha stage.

Deleted the data from vm_vendor tables and its all perfect now.
Whatever is not working, that should not come in the package.
That was such a bad experience..
Anyways, I fixed it..

it doesn't come in the package. Must be something that went wrong for you. Otherwise they'd be a load of posts about it I'd think.

No, I mean, the VENDOR options should not have come on VM 1.1.3 at all.

I think it is just for testing purposes. Needs to be included for people to test it I guess.

Normally you should see a warning that it is untested when in the screen for setting up a vendor

Hey man...

NOTHING IS GETTING STORED IN THE STORE INFO PAGE..

I have tried SAVING and APPLYING both.
Also, did REPAIR TABLE on phpmyadmin , but no good result.

This is so frustrating. Is there anyone , who can look in personally ??

I cant afford to lose data by uninstalling and installing the component .

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!
