VM "wants" Login
« on: June 16, 2009, 09:25:21 am »
I use the latest Joomla- and VM-version.

When I was testing und setting up VM, I operated in a way, that only registered users could see VM an everything was fine.

The last step should be to make the shop available for all visitors of my website.
So I set the virtuemart shopping cart-module to public frontend an created a public link to the VM-component in the menu.
When a visitor, which is not logged in, clicks on this link, the vm-category-view is shown. But when this visitor clicks on a category-link, the login-page is shown.
If the visitor logs in - if he can - everything still is fine.
VM ist set to "no account creation".
For Joomla the user-registration is allowed. But because of different reasons, not every  visitor can be accepted as a registered user. So I dont want "new" registered users because of the shop.

I'm a little bit desperated. What can I do to make it work?

I have the same problem.  Did you find a solution?  A little desperate here as well.
