$mosConfig_absolute_path VS JPATH_BASE
« on: May 02, 2009, 09:17:40 am »
Hey all,

I'm having trouble with a Dutch Payment Module for iDEAL what is developed for PSP Chronopay.
Chronopay does not develope the module itself and there will probably not be a native version for J!1.5.

In lagacy it works except for one thing. I get an error on the acces url what gives the following error:

Warning: require_once(/includes/joomla.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/homemall.nl/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/payment/ps_chronopayideal_notify.php on line 69

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/includes/joomla.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear;') in /var/www/vhosts/homemall.nl/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/payment/ps_chronopayideal_notify.php on line 69

and this points at the following part of code:

Code: [Select]
require_once($mosConfig_absolute_path. '/includes/joomla.php');

        if( file_exists ($mosConfig_absolute_path. '/includes/database.php'))
            require_once($mosConfig_absolute_path. '/includes/database.php');
        else
            require_once($mosConfig_absolute_path. '/classes/database.php');

        $database = new database( $mosConfig_host, $mosConfig_user, $mosConfig_password, $mosConfig_db, $mosConfig_dbprefix );

I had contact with the developer and he looked into the files of the module and he thinks its the $mosConfig_absolute_path function that gives the problem

so he adviced me to change all the $mosConfig_absolute_path into JPATH_BASE.

Since I´m have no knowledge of PHP coding can somebody, anybody tell me if it will gonna give any problems when I change all of the $mosConfig_absolute_path into JPATH_BASE.

thnx in advance JJ
