Serbian Language
« on: January 16, 2009, 02:21:44 am »
Ok, this is wiered. I have uploaded laguage pack, but somehow  VM is not translated at all... Once I`ve uploaded language package the field Current $mosConfig_lang? left empty. And there is no way to switch from english to language that I`ve uploaded. Is there any way to set $mosConfig_lang manualy? The used language is Serbian, therefore I am sending You LP file. By the way I think that You should make manual language selection in VM.

P.S. Some administrator explanations and components used are not translated yet. But will be.

Please attach here your Joomla's language pack, or at least the XML definition for serbian language.

Thanks.

Here is the problem (files sr-YU.xml, both admin and site):
<backwardLang>serbian_lat</backwardLang>

In fact, VM uses this backwardLang for setting language; so, please try renaming all serbian language files to "serbian_lat.php".

If it works, I'll fix in SVN.

Here is translation of Serbian that is continued on Vlada's version, it's almost complete translated for 1.1.3, some things are though not necessary to be translated but this version should work fine for Serbian Latin.

ps
I tried to attach here but don't work as attachment, saying folder full, refer this topic for updates :

I have also one suggestion about Serbia, there is no Serbian Currency added into it, its Dinar (Din.), and also you should remove Yugoslavia since it exist no more, it's Serbia one country and Montenegro as other one.
