error message when clicking on "add to cart"
« on: April 15, 2009, 04:05:06 am »
I have Joomla and VM with default sample products installed. Now, every time I select a product and click to "add to cart", a message box opens for like 2 seconds saying "product is added to the cart" and if I like to continue. But the message box goes away after like 2 sec and nothing happens! I click on the add to cart again, and i see "error on page" on the lower left of the IE page.

I hope someone can help me with this one.

Thanks.

Thanks for pointing me to the right direction, so i need to change the time in theme.jslocated in:

ROOT/components/com_virtuemart/themes/default/theme.js ?

i know it sounds elementary, but where/how do i find this this ROOT diretory and the file?  I did a search an theme.js on my hard drive and found 2 files with that name.   i opened them but neither one had setTimeout( 'document.boxB.close()', 3000 ); in them.  Can you please explain where i'll find this file.  I am an absolute newbie.  Thanks.

root is the root of your site e.g.

puplic_html/mysite/components/... etc

It's the root directory of your site

theme.js line 50 is the line you want
