I hope I am not violating any forum rules by posting this. I am new the this forum.

I've created a hack that will let a Joomla site admin Add Phone, email and Mail Orders As Customer. It works with joomla 1.0.15 and 1.5.x series and the VirtueMart 1.1.2 and 1.1.3.

I have used it on several live sites and shared it with several other VM users and it works fine.

If you use it, as with all extensions, test it on a dev site first.

So, what this does is makes it so that when you get an order in the mail or on the phone, you can place the order for the customer, just like you would using a commercial system like mail order manager (MOM). You can enter coupons and create multiple customer shipping addresses. You can use PayPalPro if you have a PPP account, or you can use standard paypal.

And because all of your orders can now be placed on your site, you can do a file import to quickbooks or whatever accounting software you use. I used it with simpleport.

Once you create your customers account for them, it will even send them their user account information so they can log on to the site and view their accounts orders.

Absolutely EXTATIC about this hack.  This is perfect and I imagine you are going to make a ton of people breathe easier.  My big question is this: any way to be able to enter cash or check for payment (in case this is a 'walk in' order, as opposed to a phone order).  Is this a possibility?

no, it works just like the order was placed by a customer from the front end, same functionality. Walkin order works as long as its by cc or paypal

Wouldn't any payment method you have set up on VM work? Cheque or money order is very common for us. Does it handle that?

it would be grate to put a low price for this Module
