Why the translations not appear, still display default.
« on: March 20, 2009, 02:49:39 am »
Hi all.
I'm using Joomla 1.5.8 and virtuemart 1.1.2.
Actually, I want to build an e-store with 2 languages for front end site.
And to make it work i have install Joomfish 2.0.2 in my system.
I'm choosing English as default lang and Indonesian as second.
However i have trying translate one module from English into Indonesian.
And i got like this at the top of my site.
"You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'COLLATE utf8_general_ci' at line 8 SQL=CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `jos_dbcache` ( `id` varchar ( 32 ) NOT NULL default '', `groupname` varchar ( 32 ) NOT NULL default '', `expire` datetime NOT NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00', `value` MEDIUMBLOB NOT NULL default '', PRIMARY KEY ( `id`,`groupname` ), KEY ( `expire`,`groupname` ) ) CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci
But when I'm looking at the list of modules, i got the module i translated before
now have translation value and given a green symbol.
Ok, i'm going to front end, and trying changes my site language from English, into Indonesian, and there is no changed. It still appear default language.
Thanks be4.
