Any other reviews on the topic. This appears very slick. I would like to hear more about whether it works and how it works for analyzing e-com sales performance.

I am not sure what to say about this module.  I tried installing it before but had problems.  I was able to do so recently bu I may have the beta version. It shows a one page dashboard so I am not sure if I have the full version.  Would like to give it a sceond look but am unable to download the latest version witout pying for it.

There are three different analyzing tools available from Interamind.

VM Dashboard shows a nice looking dashboard with some key values from your sales like overall total, average order, individual orders, aso. It is a great tool but I'm lacking a bit of settings like fo example witch order statuses to take into account (this is possible by an easy change to a file but I'd like to be able to easily switch between these in the backend), mainly because it's not stated witch data is being used and it appears to be different data for different meters. There is also two very confusing meters showing: "Last week daily income average vs. month and year daily average" and under the meter it says: "Week vs. Month" and "Week vs. Year". Maybe it's just me but I feel this is very confusing and I'm not sure what to actually read from these. Apart from that it's a good and straightforward analytics tool. It feels really worked through and is nicely designed, I had no problems whatsoever during installation.

The second one is called VM Analytics. This is basically a pivot table witch you can fill with data from your sales. I haven't worked so much with this tool because I find it complex and hard to understand and also there is a bug witch gives you the months sorted in the wrong order (pointed out earlier in this thread but not fixed as of today). I guess it would be a great tool for someone who is really into statistics but it's a bit over my head.

The third one is called Interamind reports and it's a tool that can show you value of your orderstatuses per category, per manufacturer, per vendor and you can also filter the results with a number of settings. Basically it's a very great tool to see witch of your brands or categories people shop from. Easy to use and understand. The downside for me is that since I have my products in several categories it's useless. A sale on a product gets registered in all categories it's present in. I've been in contact with the developer about this and I understand the problem of it but to me it's just not working because of this.

Support from Interamind has been fast and good, very helpful.

We are going to add this configuration into the "settings" page in one of the next releases. BTW, we published new views for the VM dashboard, but I will write about it in another post.

VM Analytics is extremely powerful analysis tool. It analyzes your store's past performance to give you insights that you cannot get any other way. You are correct that you need to know how to operate it. There is nice tutorial by Panorama here: http://www.panorama.com/google/pivot-table-tutorial/user-interface.html. In addition, we will publish from time to time tips and tricks on how to use our components, for example: http://tinyurl.com/nqklqf. Concerning the months sort issue, we passed this to Panorama, but as of now it received low priority from them.

...without their consent? I have a web page and I would like to have a directory of the businesses in my area on my page, is there a way to do this legally without having to contact every business for permission? Or do I even need permission?

Is InteraMind still offer support? I purchased the extension and have successfully installed it. So far so good, but I wanted to know if there is a way to have the tool available through the extended layout version of the Virtuemart admin UI? I sent out a trouble ticket and have posted on there website forum with no response at all. Is there a fix to this, or suggestion on how to go about making this tool accessible through that UI. Please advice! Thanks in advanced.
