A real multi-language shop?
« on: January 13, 2009, 13:23:29 pm »
My website (Joomla 1.5.9) using Joomfish 2.0.1 is available in 3 languages (English, German and French).

Now I installed Virtuemart 1.1.2 package and I'm wondering whether it is possible to handle for every info (categories, product name, description, etc) a specific translation.

As far as I can see in VirtueMart admin I can only insert info into a single language. Am I missing something here?

Thank you in advance for your help.

BD

PS: if this is possible (what I realy hopes;-), is it also possible with older combination Joomla 1.0, Joomfish / VurtueMart)?

BTW to answer question quoted above, I did find a guide for doing this in previous versions: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=18894

All though I am still searching for a solution for Joomla 1.5

This works just fine for me... Downloaded .zip file, unzipped it into administrator/components/com_joomfish/contentelements/ folder, deleted installation .php file. And it worked partially - translated everything except the products. Then deleted the VM_content filter file. And now it translates everything including products and product attributes.
