I am using Indian Rupees as the currency in VM, but the paypal account has USD as the currency. Paypal does not accept Indian Ruppees as a currency.
When I check out, a error shows up:
This recipient does not accept payments denominated in USD. Please contact the seller and ask him to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency.

What can be the possible solution.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, after signing into your paypal account select the profile option.
Go to Payment receiving preferences and make approriate changes that suit you and your situation.
Also consider update the multiple currency balances item on the profile page as well.
You may have not yet selected Rupees as the default currency for paypal. Good going and hope this helps.
