Discount on sub total + shipping

I searched in the forum and i didn't get the good answer.

Do you know where in VM we can manage the discount of PayPal on the total price (sub total + shipping ).

I think we have to modify the function get_payment_discount in ps_checkout.php

But i have no idea how to proceed. Some one can help me ?
