How to notify manufacturer about an order

I have a question.
For each order, Store owner and customer receive an email for a new order.

How can I add a notification for manufacturer too ?

Is there anyone who know this for a fact that it is not possible to set up a notification like this: 1 for the customer, 1 for shop owner and finally 1 for a manufacturer/subcontractor. So the result is that the system sends out 3 mail notifications.
I have looked around the forum but can't find any answer on this. I figure it would be a uncommon task someone would like in a webshop system?

I have absolutely same question here. It is very important for me to send notification e-mail for confirmed orders to manufacturers.
