file-access is disabled in the server con - Error

Wondering if anyone can help with this.

Added some new items to one of our categories.  When we go to view it online we get the following errors

Error: Failed to retrieve the Currency Converter XML document.



There seems to be a problem with server permissions.  Anyone got any idea how to solve this?

i cant belive that they are using url fopen...

i guess 90% of all webserver i know dont have url fopen enabled...anyway,

ecb is the europen central bank.. they getting the actual currencie stats..

ist ok so far... but not with url fopen... i wont open it for any of my webserver...

so the question here for me is... how can i disable it.. have to take a look.
