Help with permissions to view a file

Hi,

I want to view a file directly! like the flypage.php for example. unde directory
COMPONENTS/com_virtuemart/themes/default/templates/product details/

how can I give full permission on the PHP to view it from explorer only to that specific file.
I want it just to modify the especific file and view it in the browser directly to see what I did..

I do not want to open the link in my webpage.

please help me!

I think, it depends to php file, Joomla files have 'Direct Access is not allowed.' line in header that won't allow direct opening of the files, you can use eXtplorer to view files in Joomla.

but how do I go around the joomla "Direct access is not allowed" for the Virtuemart Theme Directory. This makes the templates files viewable, so you could just use any WYSIWYG soft to view your quick results without going to joomla each time you modify a file.

I think you have to go through Joomla otherwise only php codes will display and not the final look, not sure.
