Another Authorize.net plea for help

I have installed Joomla 1.0.13 and Virtuemart 1.1.1

The problem I am getting is on click of the Confirm Order button I get the following error:

Error: connect() timed out!
Error: The transaction could not be completed.
Error: Failure in Processing the Payment (ps_authorize)

My payment processor is Authorize.net and I an using the Credit Card Payment module and I have successfully input my Authorize ID and Transaction Key.

This happens when my Authorize.net account is in Test AND Live mode.

I am on GoDaddy hosting.

Can somebody suggest a fix? Is VirtueMart compatible with Authorize?

Update: Joseph Kwan fixed this issue for me. If you are stuck I highly recommend that you contact him. It says "Joseph Kwan - Your Joomla/VM solutions are just a PM away" in his signature and he's not kidding.
