[SOLVED] Registration wont complete - URGENT

I have just tried and tested a website I developed a while back and tried to register to make a purchase and once I fill in every field and tick the agreements and click register, I get redirected the the shop homepage.
There is nothing to say "registration is complete...etc" and no email is being sent.

This is really urgent as the shop obviously isn't working and all field in the configuration look to be working.

Can someone please help me urgently....there is nothing in the manual that leads me to why this is happening!!

You developed this "a while back" so I'll assume it was working at that time. What have you changed or what has your host changed?

Hi There,
That would be the obvious questions, but the owner of the site has done some tinker, but I would be surprised if he touched anything to do with main configuration.

Has anyone come across this before, or know what settings to check?

I would be so grateful for some help here

Check the secureurl is correct in VirtueMart admin/configuration/security

and it should have been
http://domainname.com
