It can support any payment method as long as a suitable module is written. Payment modules are provided by third parties, not the VirtueMart core developers. Many have been previously donated to be used in the VirtueMart package, others can be bought from 3rd party developers.

Thank you for the reply.

Don't talk about the 3rd party payment module, I simply looking the config of VM like Store->Edit Store->Currency Display Style
there is no currency for China RMB

I would also be interested in having Alipay integrated to Virtuemart.
It would kind of make sense to have one since we all know the true potential of the Chinese market. And since the other 2 major contestant in ecommerce CMS solutions have it already integrated, it would be a good move from the VM team to go for it with the new VM2 coming out.

But i also understand the work implicated by developing and maintaining a module/extension.

If others are interested we could maybe make a combined donation if the VM team is accepting it.
But i'm not sure i would make a donation to a 3PD for him to monetize on it.

The call has been made to other members and VM team.

the vm team does not do that type of work,   only third parties, and what stops the third parties from doing it is that there is not enough demand to get a return on their investment in creating it for free or commercial usage.

'we took a chance and created a module for fastcharge when I got 20 people who said they would use it. I intended to have it as a free extension,   but in the end, no one wanted if either way.

thanks for your answer and sharing your experience.

Well, i guess hiring a developer for doing it for my client is what i would need to do then.

Cheers
