How to send automatic mail if order is cancelled?

Hi!
I wonder if there is a way to send a email to the customer automatically if the order is cancelled? The only way I know to notify the customer now is to do it under orders manually by choose between different options (pending, confirmed, cancelled, refunded, shipped)
