VirtueMart Tag Cloud

[Joomla!freak]

"VirtueMart Cloud" generates automatically a Cloud or a List with the most used words from your VirtueMart Products (Name, Short , Full Description) sized by their amount of appearance.

Clicking on the words you are redirect to the category page with results for this word ( or detail page if there is only 1 match).

I get a bunch of undefined variables: selectspecial, font_weight, sep_der, and more. Does this assume register globals is ON (not recommended for Joomla).

Ok i see now , there's some code left that don't need to be there.

At line 54 in the helper.php remove $selectspecial

i hope this works?

I wish to know, does it work with coustom atributes?

I wish to make a feature request:
-every category must have specific tags, that I can set in the back-end;
-when browsing a category, only those tags assigned to it will be desplayed, and when browsing another category, you can see it's tags as well;
-a user can click on multiple tags, and the module remembers those tags, and filters products based on the tag selection made by user, and this will need a reset button for tags as well.

Hello all,

the feature request from korb would be a nice addition to this modul. For a shop with many products it would be a great solution to filter out and get the right choice for the customer.

Not possible, because i don't want to hack VM.

when browsing a category, only those tags assigned to it will be desplayed, and when browsing another category, you can see it's tags as well;

Show only tags from the actual Category the customer browses in will be implented soon ... ( based on automatically select manufacturers in the mod_virtuemart_manufacturers )

it's possible to send 2 keywords to the shop.browse page ($keyword1 & keyword2 , see also advanced search in VM ) but don't know (yet) how to create a function that remembers the first keyword....

Hello World, today it was a good day to extend the VM_Cloud more

New in 1.2

• New ordering : Random (shuffle)
• Show only tags from special and / or discounted products
• Show only tags from specific category(s)
• Make more use of the VM search options ( $search_limiter in shop_browse_queries)
• Choose to use the custom CSS or not (or add your own Class name to the DIV)
• Create tags from child products name
• option to show only tags from the actual category the user browses in
• Don't create tags of products that are not in stock (yes/no)
  

Ok, looks very nice BUT one BIG BUG, and don't know yet a solution:
When SEF is enabled and there is only 1 match (you go straight to detail page) it doesn't include the index.php so you get an error... any ideas ?
