Changing buttons into my own buttonset
« on: May 26, 2008, 16:23:32 pm »
Hi,

I have a an urgent question. I have used oscommerce for i changed to VM, now i have  a full list of buttons designed for me left, and i still want to use them as i paid for the design.

Is there anyone who can help me to figure out how to change the buttons into my own . The buttons already have text on it. so I need to replace the buttons and remove the text which is already in VM.

Can someone please help me to sort it out?

Thank you

vanessa

Buttons used in most places are defined in theme.css and work with associated templates. When you look though the files you will see that images can be replaced, and templates can be edited to remove text, or the relevant language file edited to remove text.

See the manual: http://virtuemart.net/documentation/Developer_Manual/Modifying_the_Layout.html#Themes_and_Templates
