Caching In Joomla 1.5 breaks catergory displays

Hi

Whenever I turn on Caching in Joomla 1.5.1, the products do not display in the catergories page. As soon as I turn caching off, the problem goes away. Why is this?

Joomla 1.5.1 Stable
VirtueMart RC3
PHP 5.2.5
Apache 2.2.6
Database 5.0.45

It is a Joomla problem. Leave cache turned off.
