500 error - fetchscript.php and extlayout.js.php

I just did a clean install of J1.5stable and VM 1210.

My admin screen looks like everything is laid out linear because I'm getting 500 errors to fetscript.php and extlayout.js.php reported by firebug.

Checked the server and the files are there and permissions are 777 on the files.

Any help would be great.  I searched around but surpising didn't see any other threads like this.

CHMOD all Frontend and backend VirtueMart component files to 644. That should fix it.

it still functions not good with firefox !!,  in IE7 its good, the right are good what can i try more
