[FEATURE REQUEST] facility to enter start date for debit cards

Small UK e-comm sites frequently handle debit/credit card payments by hand with pdq machines. VM 1.1 does not allow us to collect the extra requiredl debit card information which is a card-valid-from date and issue numbe. This is a definite requirement here. There is a plugin for 1.0.12 to collect start dates/issue numbers, but development always lags behind VM release versions. I'm thinking this should be in the core for future versions.

The feature is definitely needed, that and CCV/CCV2 however I think that depend to the type of payment module used?

It may be easier to have this data collected whenever card details are entered within VirtueMart. For example, most UK e-commerce sites have a field for card "Start date" which is qualified with the comment "if present", and the same with "Issue number"
