Decimal quanities?
« on: March 12, 2007, 19:48:41 pm »
I need the quantity box to allow decimal points, so that clients can enter and pay dollar amounts of invoices they receive by mail. I have created a product that is $1, and want them to change the quantity to equal the total invoice amount (ie. 125.67) and then add the invoice to their cart and pay for it.

How do I remove the restriction on the quantity box that only allows whole numbers to be entered?

Thanks in advance!

I  have a similar product, but I have the price set to £0.01 so the customers order 12567 of them to pay for that invoice,

In my problem, I have the price set per 1 kg (I sell beef), I want to allow buyer to order in decimal amount e.g: 1.5kg or 0.25kg or what ever they want, but I don't want to set the price in grams.
Please help...

I have not actually had to implement it yet. If I get a chance to look, I will see what I can find for you. How urgent is it?
