How to hookup VirtueMart with my PayPal account?

I got as far as "VirtueMart Admin -> Store -> List Payment Method -> PayPal -> Configuration" and added my PayPal email in the Payment Method Form.

Do I have to do anything in the code shown in the "Payment Extra Info"?  I see a hard-coded value of ...

"pal" => "NRUBJXESJTY24",

that was there at the time of the install.  What is that?

Do I need to go into my PayPal account and do anything in "Profiles-> API Setup" or in "Profiles -> IPN"?

I did read the Developer Manual.  But is there a step-by-step tutorial specifically on PayPal?
