I would contact directly the company that makes the plugin. That’s the only place you will get a reliable answer.

For Virtuemart Extensions there is usually a “Ask a Question” button on the product page.

At the moment Virtuemart and Joomla are ungoing a great deal of change.

What works this week, may not work the next.

If they are not providing support or updates, I would not buy a plugin from them.

That's the only "off the shelf" solution that is readily available for Virtuemart that I know of.

Apparently the plugin uses the intl-tel-input open source extension for validating phone

fields and there is a least one article on Google, probably others, discussing how to integrate

that in to Joomla for possible use in Virtuemart, but you would be coding that your self.
