custom fields not working vm 4

Recently updated to vm 4.0.6 and joomla 3.10.9
but now custom fields are no longer working;
not visible in frontend
all html in and backend value
also using Custom Fields For All but this one is also not visible.
running  php 7.4.16

Any idea how to fix?
