Check Deposit Payment Module

Hi,

I´m wondering about the best way to design a payment module for check deposit. This is a very simple payment module, the only thing needed is one field with the check deposit number. the Status of the order should change to tell the administrator that new info about the order was input.

Any help or suggestion about implementing this is appreciated
