Notify waiting users on order cancel or delete

Hi! When I cancel or delete an order, the stock for that order products come back to be available, but waiting users aren't notified.

Is there a way to notify users when orders are cancelled?

Not quite sure what you are saying.
The only way to notify the customers on the waiting list, is to manually execute the notify waiting customers for EACH product. This is found under product edit.

Yep, that I know! but since cancelling or deleting an order restores stock levels, I thought that the notify function will fire...

The function is and has always been MANUAL it does not fire if you update the stock value. There can be a number of reasons for this. But one of them would be accidental firing because wrong update of stock.
