Send SMS with order status comment?

Hello,

We want to be able to send SMS to customers, which include the order status comment.
A couple of SMS extensions we checked, do not support this field, and the developers were not willing to consider it.

Anyone has a suggestion?

 Use one of the extensions, override it and add the field.
