Removing unwanted space

Hi - again
My version of joomla is v. And 3.6.10 for joomla. My template is HD New Jersey (helix 3 frame work).
I have a slider module only displayed on the home page. How ever the module "space" is on all the other pages. How do I get rid of these open spaces without deleting the slider module. Hope this makes some sense as my terminology is 'up there's with my technical skills

This is almost certainly related to an badly written slider module or the helix template. Not a VM issue. Talk to helix.
