Migarte VM totest domain
« on: May 07, 2020, 21:36:00 pm »
Hi

I have a joomla site and VM store at one domain using an old Joomla 3 version. Due to various reasons I could not upgrade the core joomla version so have decided to rebuild the site at a test domain and copy across the VM store.

Can someone explain the process for doing this. Should I install a new version of VM at the test domain and then copy across the relevant VM database tables?

Which tables do I need to copy over?

Thanks. Any help appreciated.

Paul

just install the SAME version on the new site .. all versions here:  http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files

then copy over the VM tables from the old site .. anything with  #__virtuemart

then upgrade to latest
