Order numbering skipped a number

I'm not sure if I'm asking this question on the right site, but as you can see in the attached screenshots there seem to be missing order numbers. The blue numbers are from Rupostel's One Page Checkout, the black numbers are Virtuemart (I guess). Has anybody experienced a problem such alike? It looks like an order is added to the One Page Checkout extension, but not to Virtuemart.
I checked the database and fount Order-2020-02-00030 in #__onepage_numbering. The timestamp of 00030 is 18:39:59, the timestamp of 00031 is 18:40:11. So just a few seconds later.
I can't explain what happened, why it happens and how it can be solved. Maybe somebody has suggestions?

Creating TWO ordernumbers for each order, WHY ??

This must be confusing for the customer. I would check with the Rupostel One page checkout for a solution.

@Jörgen, it's not only confusing for the customer ;-)
But now it's handy to see which numbers are corect and which aren't. I will ask Rupostel if they recognize the problem.
If somebody knows a fix please let me know.

Are you wrong.

First number is Order number
Second number is Invoice Number

You are absolutely right. I did not recognize the order view. Then this is something to talk about with rupostel or perhaps the payment option. Someone is making it skip an order number.
